The vertical integration of SIJ Group companies enables us to meet customer needs more comprehensively. In terms of steel processes, it can be understood as a closed circle of economic management between companies in the business areas of raw material (steel scrap) collection, steel production and processing into steel products, and processing and distribution to customers.

Living Circular Economy

At the SIJ Group, steel can be recycled again and again and processed into new types of steel without any loss of quality. We produce it entirely from steel scrap and have been living a circular economy for almost 40 years.

This is also made possible by the vertical integration of our companies, through the collection and processing of steel scrap, the production of steel from the scrap collected, the processing and distribution, which also includes the return of scrap to production.
